Terms of Service
These terms describe the responsibilities of Quote Builder and every customer who relies on the platform to create professional estimates. Please review them carefully before inviting your team.
This Is a Binding Agreement
It governs how your organization accesses Quote Builder and how we deliver the service.
We wrote these terms to be clear and actionable. They work alongside our Privacy Policy and any signed order forms.
- Use Quote Builder only for lawful business quoting activities.
- Pay any applicable subscription fees on time.
- Respect intellectual property and confidentiality obligations.
Flexible Billing
Subscriptions may be monthly or annual and renew automatically unless cancelled before the current term ends.
Operational Reliability
We monitor uptime continuously and provide status updates so you can plan quoting workloads confidently.
The Fine Print
These clauses outline in more detail how Quote Builder operates and what you can expect from us throughout your subscription lifecycle.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using Quote Builder you are agreeing to this contract between your organization and QB Technologies, Inc.
- If you are using Quote Builder on behalf of a company, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization.
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or invite other team members.
- Your continued use of Quote Builder after we publish updates to these terms constitutes acceptance of the revised agreement.
2. Accounts & Responsibilities
Workspace owners are responsible for maintaining the security of credentials and activity within the account.
- Provide accurate information when registering and keep contact, billing, and regulatory details current.
- Safeguard passwords, API keys, and authentication tokens. Let us know immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
- Ensure that quotes, pricing data, and uploaded content comply with applicable laws and third-party rights.
3. Subscription & Billing
Quote Builder is billed in advance on a recurring subscription basis unless stated otherwise on an order form.
- Plan upgrades take effect immediately and any prorated charges appear on the next invoice.
- If payment cannot be processed, we may suspend access until the balance is resolved.
- Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. Cancellation stops future renewal charges but does not generate credits for unused time.
4. Permitted & Prohibited Use
Keep Quote Builder focused on legitimate business quoting. Certain activities are never allowed.
- Do not attempt to copy, reverse engineer, or resell the platform without our written permission.
- Avoid exceeding service limits or interfering with stability through scripts, bots, or abusive API calls.
- Content that is illegal, discriminatory, or infringes another party's rights may be removed and could result in suspension.
5. Service Availability & Support
We aim for 99.9% monthly uptime and offer support channels to keep your quoting workflows moving.
- Scheduled maintenance windows are announced in advance on the status page.
- Support questions submitted by email or in-product chat receive responses within one business day.
- Beta or pilot features may carry additional limitations that we describe before activation.
6. Term, Termination & Data Handling
You may leave Quote Builder at any time and we will ensure your data is handled responsibly.
- You can cancel from the billing settings or by emailing support. The subscription remains active until the current term ends.
- We may terminate a workspace for material breach, non-payment, or misuse with reasonable notice.
- Within 30 days of termination, workspace owners may export data. We follow the Privacy Policy for deletion schedules after that period.
7. Changes to Service or Terms
We continually improve Quote Builder and will let you know when important changes require your attention.
- We reserve the right to modify features, add limits, or discontinue components with prior notice when possible.
- Material updates to these terms will be communicated by email or in-app banners. Continued use after the effective date implies consent.
- If you do not agree with new terms, you may cancel before the update takes effect and continue using the existing agreement until the term ends.
